Description: This project involves taking a mixed drink and presenting it's features in a 10 second animation. The mixed drink I chose was a Gatorade-type of drink which has water, electrolytes, sugar, and other ingrediants. This type of drink can be summed up in words such as high energy, electricity, and power. This animation is a unique way of presenting the attitude, environment, and mood that reflects this type of drink. |

Adobe After Effects CS5 (Typography and Compositing) | Autodesk Maya (Modeling and Animation)
Description: This project presents four of the eight Laban Efforts in an animation. The four efforts include slash, glide, float, and press (SGFP). A paper airplane slashes through the clouds. Due to the resistance of the clouds, the paper airplane loses it's speed and then glides through the sky. Next, a balloon floats into the scene. The paper airplane presses against the balloon and changes direction.

Adobe After Effects CS5 (Compositing) | Autodesk Maya (Modeling, Animation, Rigging, and Typography)
Description: In the final project I decided to push my limits in doing something really challenging. In my previous Maya animation, I focused on using inanimate objects that move based on the environment and the laws of physics. In this animation, I include two robot characters that are modeled, rigged, and animated in Maya. This project definitly posed a lot of animation challenges. I animated the characters using both forward and inverse kinematics. I used the animation graphs to correct problems such as the popping of joints.
