Description: This was a project I decided to take up on my own. I have always been interested in Flash programming and not having used Action Script since high school, I decided to give it a shot. Action Script 3.0 is a lot different from when I last used it but it wasn't too hard to pick up. When I last used it, there was no object oriented aspect to Action Script but having a OOP aspect makes it a lot more robust. I wrote a class for the individual tiles in the game that control a single tile's position and movement. I also created event handlers to trigger the tile movement and display "WINNER" text when the game is complete.  |
